WHEN WE TALK ON THE PHONE:
During our phone conversation I will take a few minutes to hear about what you are seeking in a psychotherapy process. It will be important that you feel I am beginning to understand what you hope for.
Then, you will have time to ask me questions to help you decide whether or not to schedule an appointment.
We will talk about fees, my cancellation policy, and directions to my office.
THE FIRST MEETING:
This first meeting is important. It will be a time for both of us to discern whether this is a good fit and whether both of us feel that I can be helpful to you. You will have an experience of how I work and we will talk together about how the process between us may unfold.
